Cemeteries
The City of Kurten has two cemeteries within the city limits. The Kurten Cemetery was established in 1865 by Henry Kurten. There is a long history of the Kurten cemetery where most of the locals were buried. Here are additional links about the Kurten Cemetery.
TRYON CEMETERY
Tryon Cemetery is located on Oaklake Road, just to the southeast of Kurten.
HOLUBEC CEMETERY
Holubec Cemetery, another private Cemetery is located just outside the Kurten city limits on private land.
FRIEDEL CEMETERY
Friedel Cemetery is located on private land, off of FM 2038 South in the City of Kurten.
